Every placing on this page was read off the ribbon in the photograph next to it. Boulder County judges poultry on the Danish system, which scores each bird against the breed standard rather than against the bird in the next cage, so more than one blue can be awarded in the same class.

Five of the nine Range Celadon birds were entered. One more, Eowyn, stayed home: she was missing feathers on her head that week, which counts against a bird on condition, so there was no sense taking her. Every number above was read off a ribbon in a photograph on this page.

Gelato and Talenti are Nigerian Dwarf goats. They are not bred and not milked. They are here because they are good company and because they clear the brush that would otherwise carry a fire uphill toward the house.
Goat showmanship is judged the same way poultry showmanship is: on the handler. We are not listing a goat placing here because we do not have the ribbon to read it off.
